SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION
A safety management system (SMS) is an overarching system, covering many disciplines and implemented facility-wide to manage safety at the site. There are a number of SMS models, however the fundamental building blocks for a management system are Policy; Planning; Implementing; Assessing; and Management review. MicroWatt can perform a SMS gap assessment for facilities with an existing SMS, to identify areas of improvement and serious deficiencies in the system. A gap assessment will assess how the existing system managed the site’s risks and assess against essential SMS elements. MicroWatt can also assess these typical elements for a site without a formalized SMS, in preparation for SMS development. We can assist companies as they develop their SMS, and help tailor the SMS to size, complexity and associated risks of the facility. As required, the system can be based on an existing regulatory body model or align to the company’s corporate system, while meeting the relevant regulatory requirements.
TIER II CERTIFIED PRODUCT SERVICE & REPAIR
If a product issue cannot be solved by our frontline Tier I support personnel they will recommend raising this issue to our Tier II Technical Support Group. Certain troubleshooting solutions must be performed by this team to help ensure the intricacies of a challenging issue are solved by providing experienced and knowledgeable technicians with certified factory training and expertise. This may include, but is not limited to onsite technical evaluations, instrumentation repair [on-site or shop], full co-ordination of necessary hardware component replacements and installation, hardware and/or software reconfiguration, diagnostic testing, and the utilization of specialized remote tools for troubleshooting and finding a fast and effective solution to the issue.
