The 400 Series single-stage, piston-style regulators are designed to deliver a preset flow of non-corrosive gases in the 17 liter or 34 liter non-refillable cylinders with CGA 600 inlets. Each regulator comes with a cylinder pressure gauge.
The 500 Series regulators are single-stage, piston-style, regulators designed to deliver a preset flow of non-reactive and low-level reactive (less than 100 PPM)* gas mixtures from 58 liter and 103 liter non-refillable cylinders having a 5/8”-18 UNF (C-10) inlet connection.
*Low-level reactive gases slowly react with the “wetted” brass parts of the 500 Series regulators. In order to minimize loss of calibration accuracy, the regulator must be removed from the cylinder after each use. NorLab’s 6000 Series regulator is recommended for extended use with reactive calibration gas mixtures.
Available in stainless steel for chlorine mixtures: NLB 517 SS and NLB 518 SS.
The 8000 Series regulators are used for calibration of instruments that draw the gas mixture with an internal pump. Constructed of nickel-plated brass and aluminum, they are compatible with reactive and non-reactive gas mixtures. They supply flows of 0.1 LPM to 3.0 LPM, and are suitable for use with high pressure refillable cylinders as well as nonrefillables.
The 6000 Series regulators are for use with 58 liter and 103 liter non-refillable cylinders having a C-10 (5/8”-18 UNF) inlet connection. They may also be configured for use on returnable cylinders having pressures to 2400 PSIG. These aluminum-bodied, single-stage, piston-style regulators have eight flow settings from 0.2 LPM to 6 LPM. They are compatible with non-reactive as well as reactive gas mixtures like hydrogen sulfide, nitric oxide and ammonia. 1000 PSI gauges are used for non-refillable cylinders and 3000 PSI gauges are used for refillable cylinders.
*The appropriate Compressed Gas Association valve number will be determined by the specific pure gas or gas mixture (e.g. 6-330 for mixtures containing hydrogen sulfide).
NorLab carries a full line of pressure reducing regulators to accommodate any gas delivery requirement. We offer single stage and dual stage regulators constructed of brass, aluminum or stainless steel, compatible with returnable cylinders having pressures to 6000 PSIG.

The 700 Series Regulators are for use with NorLab’s 22 liter and 221 liter cylinders. Their miniature size and lightweight construction make them ideal for use with these non-refillable cylinders.
The 900 Series Regulators are for use with NorLab’s 76 liter cylinder and the “3A” refillable cylinder. Their aluminum construction and compact size make them an ideal economical regulator for pressure reduction with these two cylinders.
The HP Series Regulators are designed to control high-purity, non-corrosive gases. The internal materials of construction will not contaminate the gas stream and they are highly resistant to inboard diffusion of atmospheric contaminants. The HP270 Series is available in either single-stage (HPS270/HPS272) or two-stage (HPT270/HPT272) configurations with diffusion-resistant diaphragm outlet valves.
The Model CRG is a single-stage aluminum body regulator designed for corrosive gases and gas mixtures such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and other gases compatible with aluminum. Available with an optional bonnet vent connector.
NorLab, the Specialty Gas Division of Norco, Inc., has been producing and distributing calibration mixtures and pure specialty gases in refillable and non-refillable cylinders since the late 1970s. We offer a complete line of products, including pure gases to levels of 99.9999% purity, multi-component hydrocarbon mixtures, environmental, industrial hygiene, medical and special application mixes as well as compatible gas control equipment.
